
Call for Entries
Submissions open on 1 September 2026. Features (first works), short films and documentaries from all over the world are welcome at Auditorium Sirena, Francavilla al Mare.
Entry rules
Eligible works
Debut feature films (no time limit), short films up to 40 minutes including credits, and documentaries with no time limit, in digital format.
Production year
Films must have been completed after 1 January 2025. The theme is free.
Who registers
Registration must be made by the writer, director or producer of the work.
The contest is open to anyone who wants to present audiovisual storytelling projects, either features or shorts. Each writer may submit up to 2 scripts, with a maximum length of 5 pages for shorts and 12 pages for feature films. Subjects must be written in Italian and English, submitted as PDF, and the writer must hold the rights to the project.
Finalists selected by our jury receive Gold access to the festival Industry Days and the opportunity to meet producers and distributors to present their concept. The winner of the contest receives a € 500 prize.

Sending your film
Films can be sent from 1 September 2026 via WeTransfer (recommended) to adriaticmovie@gmail.com, or through FilmFreeway / Short Film Depot. Shipping costs are on the participants.
Subtitles
Non-Italian language works must include Italian or English subtitles. Italian language works must be delivered with English subtitles.

Special mentions
The jury is composed of industry professionals whose names will be announced through the press. Authors of selected works will be contacted by the festival office, which will communicate the screening date; it is the author’s responsibility to provide the requested material within the time frame indicated in the selection notice. Submitted works are kept in the festival archive and will not be returned; the organisation reserves the right to use all received works for cultural purposes. Participants guarantee that the submitted work is not plagiarism and does not infringe third-party rights of any nature. Directors and/or producers are responsible for the content of their works and declare, upon submission, that they have fulfilled every obligation towards third parties arising from copyright. The organisation reserves the right to amend parts of the regulation, subject to publication on the official website.
